Box Score 1 BROOKINGS, S.D. -- The Creighton softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader against South Dakota State on Friday afternoon in Brookings, South Dakota. The Jackrabbits took the first game 9-2 before notching a 11-0 five-inning win in the second contest.
Creighton moved its season record to 14-14, while South Dakota State improved to 34-5.
The Bluejays led after the top of the third inning but managed only three hits during the seven-run loss in the first game of the doubleheader.
After falling behind 1-0 on an RBI single in the bottom of the first, Creighton took a 2-1 advantage with two runs in the top of the third.
