OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton softball team concluded its 2019 season with a 9-7 victory against Seton Hall on Sunday afternoon at the Creighton Sports Complex. The win pushed the Bluejays' final record to 20-24 overall and 8-13 during BIG EAST play.
Sam Alm, Kiara Mills and Mikaela Pechar each hit two-run homers as Creighton tallied its highest run total since April 9 against Nebraska (9-1 victory).
The Bluejays jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with consecutive hits during the home half of the first inning. Ashley Cantu led off the frame with a triple to the center-field wall before Alm lifted her first career home run over the left-field wall.
