OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton softball head coach Brent Vigness has announced the addition of Lehigh grad transfer Parker Boyd for the 2021 season.
Boyd heads to Omaha after playing the previous four seasons at Lehigh, where the Battle Ground, Wash., native amassed 40 wins and 427 strikeouts in 476.1 innings of work, during which time she owned an ERA of 3.32. She was also a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection and twice named Academic All-Patriot League.
Boyd was considering Creighton and its Occupational Therapy graduate school program long before the coronavirus shut down the 2020 season prematurely, which granted her the opportunity for an additional year of eligibility.
