Lake Charles, La. -- For the second time in as many weeks, the Creighton Baseball team turned a ninth inning deficit into a dramatic win as the Bluejays plated six runs in the ninth to outlast McNeese State, 11-7, on Saturday, Feb. 23 in the Bluejays' third game at the Lake Area Classic.
The win moved the Bluejays to 5-1 on the season, while McNeese State fell to 3-3. In the the Lake Area Classic, Creighton is 2-1, with one potential game against McNeese State remaining on Sunday. The Cowboys are 0-2 in the tournament with scheduled contests against Creighton and Texas State tomorrow.
