OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton women's soccer freshmen Maia and Shani Sirota will be taking a brief break from the Bluejay soccer program and will travel back home to Israel this week as the duo has been called up to participate in the Israeli Women's National Team Training Camp.
"We are pleased for both Maia and Shani as it's a great opportunity for them both to represent their national team," said head coach Jimmy Walker. "Playing at the national team level is the pinnacle of your career and we are excited for them to compete and get into the squad for their upcoming European and World Cup games.
