Shooting woes and slow starts send Creighton men's basketball to second consecutive loss

Marquette defeated Creighton 66-61 at CenturyLink Center Omaha on Wednesday night.

The Bluejays made only three 3-pointers (3 of 21) and shot less than 30 percent (14.3) from deep for the third time in their past four games.

“There’s only so many times that we can say we have an off-shooting night,” junior forward Cole Huff said. “When it happens 75 percent of the season it’s not an off night, it’s just how we’re shooting the ball.”
