WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State completed a doubleheader sweep of Creighton Baseball on Friday evening with a 4-3 win in the nightcap.
Just as it did in the opener, a 7-5 win, Wichita State (5-5) took the lead for good with a four-run sixth inning and never looked back.
Denson Hull took a shutout into the sixth inning while holding the Shockers to just two hits, before Wichita State rallied. The Shocker had their first four men reach base, and all four would come around to score. The big blow was a two-run double by Paxton Wallace, who later scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly.
