OMAHA, Neb. -- Playing in front a record crowd of 2,578 the seventh-ranked Creighton women's volleyball team swept #13 Kentucky in the opening match of the Bluejay Invitation presented by First National Bank on Friday, Sept. 1.
Set scores for the match were 25-20, 26-24 and 25-20.
Creighton continues play in the Bluejay Invitational at 12:30 pm on Saturday, Sept. 2 as the Bluejays face off with #18 USC. The Trojans dropped a 3-1 contest to Northern Iowa in the first match of the tournament on Friday.
