Cincinnati, Ohio -- Creighton Baseball's series opening game at Xavier was suspended by lightning in the top of the seventh with the Bluejays batting and holding a 7-5 lead on Friday, April 12.
It was Xavier that struck first with a solo home run in the bottom of the first off the bat of Hayden Christiansen.
Creighton seized the lead with four runs in the third, got a two-run blast in the fourth from Teddy Deters and a solo home run from Cuyler Zukowski in the seventh. The Bluejays' tallies in the third were aided by Musketeer wildness.
