VILLANOVA, Pa. – Behind a pair of second half goals by senior Hannah Luke and junior Alyssa Judkins, the Creighton women's soccer team rallied for a 2-1 win over Villanova for their first BIG EAST win of the season on Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Higgins Soccer Complex in Villanova, Pa.
The win moved the Bluejays to 3-7-4 on the year and to 1-5-0 in BIG EAST play, while Villanova suffered it first loss at home this season, falling to 4-3-6 overall and 1-3-1 in conference play.
The Wildcats nearly took the lead in the 24th minute earning a penalty kick on a handball in the box by the Bluejays.
