DETROIT, Mich. -- Creighton guard Baylor Scheierman was named to the All-Midwest Regional Team after play concluded on Sunday in Detroit.
Scheierman led Creighton with 25 points on Friday night against Tennessee, adding six rebounds and two assists. In three NCAA Tournament games this month Scheierman averaged 19.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. His 11 three-pointers tied a Creighton record for a single NCAA Tournament, as did his 100 percent marksmanship at the free throw line in seven attempts. Scheierman leads all players in the 2024 NCAA Tournament with 42.
