OMAHA, Neb. -- Baylor Scheierman was named a unanimous First Team All-BIG EAST selection and teammates Trey Alexander and Ryan Kalkbrenner were named Second Team All-BIG EAST after a vote of league coaches. The Bluejays are the only team with three men honored on one of the top two teams.

Scheierman has starred for Creighton this winter, averaging 18.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He leads the BIG EAST with 14 double-doubles and is in contention to become the first men's player in the last 20 years to lead a Power 6 Conference in both defensive rebounds (currently 249) and three-pointers made (currently 97, one behind the league leader).
