Rough First Inning Haunts Baseball in 8-4 Loss at San Jose State

San Jose, Calif -- Two errors in the bottom of the first inning led to six unearned runs in Creighton Baseball's 8-4 loss to San Jose State on Saturday, Feb. 22nd.

The loss moved the Bluejays to 3-2 on the season, while the Spartans collected their first win to move to 1-5.

With two outs and a man at first, the Spartans got a double to left. Creighton starter Ryan Windham appeared to get out of the frame unscathed by inducing a ground ball to third. The ball, however was booted, sending San Jose State's first run home.
