OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton men's tennis senior Casey Ross and sophomore Matthew Lanahan earned BIG EAST Men's Tennis Double's Team of the Week honor, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.
It marks the first BIG EAST Weekly honor for both Ross and Lanahan this season and the first BIG EAST weekly honor since Nick Campbell was named the Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week on Jan. 21, 2022.
Ross and Lanahan teamed up at the top doubles slot last week posting a perfect 2-0 mark to help the Bluejays to wins over UIC (6-1) and Chicago State (5-2).
