New York, N.Y. -- Fresh off an upset win over #19 DePaul, the Creighton women's basketball squad collected a pair of individual awards as Emma Ronsiek was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week and Temi Carda collected a spot on the weekly Honor Roll. Announced on Monday, Feb. 22, this is Ronsiek's second weekly award of the season, both coming after matchups with DePaul.
Ronsiek scored a game-high 27 points off 9-of-12 shooting, including a 3-for-3 clip from three, while grabbing five boards as Creighton upset 19th-ranked DePaul on its home court on Saturday.
