COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho -- The Creighton women's golf team opened its 2021-22 season in record-setting fashion as the Bluejays finished in seventh place at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Creighton's third round total of 292 was the program's best on file in school history (since 2003-04), eclipsing the previous mark fo 295 set on April of 2021 at the BIG EAST Championship and then matched in Monday's second round. Creighton's 889 total was also the first time the program has broken 900 in any event. In addition, both Katie Allen (217) and Katherine Lemke (218) broke Allen's previous CU record for a 54-hole event of 220.
