Omaha, Neb. -- Playing in front of better than 8,000 fans, the Creighton Baseball team displayed the grit and toughness demanded as the program celebrated Military Veterans as well as First Responders on Saturday, May 13. The Bluejays, however, came up a little short in a 5-3 loss to McNeese State to fall to 22-21 on the season. The Cowboys, meanwhile, moved to 33-16 overall.
Creighton and McNeese State will wrap up their three-game set on Sunday, May 14th at 12:00 pm. Prior to the game the Bluejays will honor nine seniors for their dedication to the program.
