The Creighton men’s basketball team was looking to get back on track Saturday night against Marquette. However, the Bluejays gave up a 15 point lead in the second half and for the second straight Big East game, lost in the final seconds 90-86 to the Golden Eagles in front of another sellout crowd.
The Bluejays looked like they were going to run away with it by the end of the first half and extended their lead to 15 early in the second half. However, Marquette switched their defense to a zone and Creighton struggled letting Marquette back into it.
