Touch the ball. Throw the ball off of someone. Get fouled. Do anything except for allowing Marquette one last chance. Unfortunately, the Creighton basketball team gave the Golden Eagles that last chance with 0.8 seconds in regulation as Sam Hauser somehow got a shot off after Creighton turned it over to send it to overtime. The Jays ended up losing 106-104 in a crazy game.
The Bluejays looked like they had things locked up with 0.8 seconds in regulation with the chance to inbound the ball to squeak out the hard fought win. But instead a long pass to Martin Krampelj went untouched giving Marquette the chance underneath their own basket.
