After a hard fought win against #10 Seton Hall earlier in the week, there were whispers that there could be a let down as the Creighton men’s basketball team took on DePaul on Saturday night. Those worries were put to rest pretty quickly in the Bluejays 93-64 win over the Blue Demons.
Ty-Shon Alexander scored 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting (3-5 from three) while also dishing out 8 assists and collecting 5 steals in the victory. The Bluejays were up 42-28 at the half, but then came out of the halftime locker room like they were shot out of a cannon as Creighton extended the lead to 29 in the first three minutes starting on a 16-3 run.
