BERKELEY, Calif. -- The No. 23 Creighton men's soccer team concluded its trip to the Bay Area with a 3-0 victory over the California Golden Bears on Sunday afternoon at Edwards Field.
The Bluejays improved to 2-2-0, while the Golden Bears fell to 1-2-0.
Three different players scored for Creighton, as the team converted its first three goals of the season during regulation time.
Noah Franke gave the Bluejays a one-goal lead during the 36th minute. Ricky Lopez-Espin recovered a loose ball and sent it towards the front of the goal where the Cal goalkeeper deflected the ball.
