OMAHA, Neb. – A grand slam home run by and a two-run home run by helped the Creighton softball team to a 7-5 victory over St. John's on Saturday afternoon at the Creighton Sports Complex.
The win lifted the Bluejays record to 22-30 on the year and 6-17 in league play, while the Red Storm fell to 21-27 overall and 7-13 in BIG EAST play.
Eliminated from postseason contention, Creighton will wrap up the 2023 season on Sunday in the series finale against St. John's with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m.
