MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- James Milliken hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 1:05 left and Maurice Watson Jr. had 18 points and 10 assists as Creighton won its third straight game with a 65-62 road win at Marquette on Saturday night before 15,844 at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Creighton improved to 17-9 on the year and is alone in third place with an 8-5 BIG EAST record, while Marquette dropped to 16-10 and is 5-8 in league play.
The win was the 138th on the Creighton sideline for Greg McDermott, tying him with John J.
