OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton men's tennis team earned the No. 4 seed for the 2024 BIG EAST Tennis Championships Presented by Jeep the league announced on Monday afternoon. The Bluejays will open postseason play against fifth-seeded Butler on Friday, April 19 at 12:45 p.m. (CT).
The Bluejays will head to Cayce, S.C. looking for revenge after Butler ended the Jays 2023 historic season in the semifinals last spring. Creighton ended its regular season slate with a 13-8 overall record, including a 4-2 mark against BIG EAST competition. The Bluejays four BIG EAST wins this season matched the four wins in 2023 as the most in a single season since joining the BIG EAST in 2013-14.
