OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Omaha in an intense battle on Saturday night at the Miracle Hills Tennis Center.
The loss moves the Bluejays to 7-4 on the year, while the Mavericks improved to 10-4 overall. It is the third straight road match against Omaha that the Mavericks have won 4-3.
The Bluejays came out strong, securing the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles positions. Senior Matthew Lanahan and sophomore Kirtan Patel teamed up for a 6-4 win at the top doubles position, while the duo of junior Alejandro Gandini and sophomore Yuma Daijima claimed a 6-3 victory on the No.
