LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Creighton men's tennis team fell 5-2 to in-state foe Nebraska at the Dillon Tennis Center in Lincoln, Neb. on Thursday night.
The Bluejays are now 3-6, while the Huskers improved to 2-7.
Nebraska earned the doubles point with two of three victories and clinched the dual with four singles wins.
The Cornhuskers opened Thursday's action with a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles. Creighton's No. 3 doubles team knotted the action with a 6-4 victory. Armando Gandini and Jake Glazer picked the win during the pair's first match as partners.
