DES MOINES, Iowa – The Creighton men's tennis team opened its spring dual season with a 7-0 loss at Drake on Friday afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Bluejays fall to 0-1 on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to 1-0.
Drake started Friday's match with identical 6-2 victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions for the first point of the day. Down early at the No. 3 doubles position, freshman Zachary Kuo and graduate student Casey Ross battled backed to even the match at 5-5 before falling 7-5 to Drake's Olle Sonesson Lindholt.
