Men's Tennis Falls 5-2 During Crosstown Matchup Against UNO

OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton men's tennis team fell 5-2 against Nebraska-Omaha on Friday night in front of a lively crowd at the Hanscom Indoor Tennis Center.

The Bluejays dropped their season record to 2-6, while the Mavericks improved to 3-8.

An estimated 100 fans attended the dual between the crosstown foes.

The Mavericks took the first point of the night with wins at the No. 2 and 3 doubles positions. UNO started the action with a 6-3 win at the No. 3 position.

Creighton's Stratton Brown and Mac Mease rallied for a come-from-behind victory at the top doubles position to even doubles play.
