OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's tennis team picked up a 7-0 sweep of Kansas City on Saturday afternoon at the Hanscom Tennis Center.
The Bluejays improved to 2-4 with the victory.
Creighton earned the doubles point with a come-from-behind effort. The Roos took a 1-0 edge in doubles action with a 6-4 win, but the Bluejays claimed victories at the other two positions. and posted a 6-4 win at No. 2, while and combined for a 6-3 victory at the No. 3 position.
The Bluejays tallied three straight-sets victories to clinch the overall dual before winning three other matches that went three sets.
