OMAHA, Neb. – Battling former Bluejay head coach Ed Hubbs , the Creighton men's tennis team soared to a 7-0 sweep of Doane on Friday afternoon at the Hanscom Tennis Center.
With the win, Creighton improved to 7-3 on the year, while Doane fell to 4-3 overall.
Senior Matthew Lanahan and junior Alejandro Gandini paired up for a 6-1 victory on the top doubles court, while sophomores Kirtan Patel and Yuma Daijima cruised to a 6-0 victory at the No. 3 doubles position to earn the first point of the match.
