OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton men's tennis team opened play at the Omaha Invite with seven singles victories on Saturday at the Koch Family Tennis Center.
The Bluejays finished the morning session with a 3-3 split with Nebraska-Kearney, before finishing the afternoon session with four wins over North Dakota.
Sophomore opened the day with a 6-3, 6-7, 10-7 three-set win over UNK's Adam Palecek, before claiming a 6-4, 6-3 straight sets win over UND's Jerall Yasin at the top single position.
Sophomore also finished the day with a perfect 2-0 record. The Tokyo, Japan native captured a 6-2, 6-2 straight sets win over UNK's Andy Brisdon in the morning session before cruising to a 6-2, 6-1 win over UND's Jayho Hong in the afternoon at the No.
