Men's Soccer Uses Team Effort to Control UIC, Records 4-0 Shutout

OMAHA, Neb. -- Seven different players recorded a point as the Creighton men's soccer team cruised to a 4-0 shutout of UIC on Saturday night at Morrison Stadium.

The Bluejays improved to 3-4-1, while the Flames moved their record to 5-3-2.

Creighton scored three goals over the span of less than five minutes to take control of the match.

Senior recorded his first goal as a Bluejay to open the scoring during the 18th minute. The co-captain received a pass from before blasting a shot off the bottom of the cross bar and into the back of the net.
