The Bluejays men’s soccer team was undefeated on the weekend headlined by an upset of hosts and No. 1 nationally ranked Indiana 3-0 last Friday.
The historic win was Creighton’s first over a No. 1 ranked team in program history and Creighton Athletics’ first in 20 years since baseball defeated Nebraska in extra innings in 2001.
The Bluejays began the season 0-2 after a very difficult first week, but the Jays bounced back in the right direction in the best way imaginable.
“I’m extremely proud of the group for bouncing back after a pretty horrible week for us,” Coach Johnny Torres said.
