OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team scored twice during the late stages of the first half to upend No. 11 Clemson, 2-0, on Friday night at Morrison Stadium.
??Ziyad Fares opened the scoring during the 37th minute. Younes Boudadi played a ball into the right-side of the 18-yard box where Akeem Ward redirected the ball to Fares about five yards in front of the goal where the junior transfer placed the ball into the back of the net.
Anthony Macchione converted during the 42nd minute to extend the Creighton advantage before halftime.
