WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Creighton men's soccer team earned the No. 4 seed in the 2019 BIG EAST Championship presented by Jeep with a 1-1 double overtime draw against Georgetown on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bluejays will host Butler on Saturday night in the First Round of the championship. The Bulldogs secured the No. 5 seed in the BIG EAST Championship field with a 2-1 win against Xavier. Kickoff between the Bluejays and Bulldogs at Morrison Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Creighton ended the regular season with 13 points in BIG EAST play (4-4-1 record), while Georgetown finished league play with a 7-0-2 mark and 23 points to earn the regular-season title.
