OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team is ranked No. 23 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 that was released on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
The Bluejays ended the first weekend of the season 1-1-0 with a golden goal victory over Grand Canyon (1-0 in 2OT) on Sunday and a loss against No. 17 Virginia Tech (2-0) to open the season on Friday.
Creighton is one of two teams from the BIG EAST listed in this week's poll. Butler moved up eight spots to No. 17 after going 1-0-0 last week. Providence and Georgetown also received votes in this week's poll.
