OMAHA, Neb. -- Despite the Creighton men's soccer team not entirely together as one unit during the summer months, multiple Bluejays have found success with various clubs across the country.
Defender Younes Boudadi earned a spot on the Lone Star Conference XI team, while Boudadi and four other Bluejays led Laredo Heat SC to a current 12-0-0 record and the South Region Semifinals of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Laredo defeated Dutch Lions FC 4-3 in overtime on Saturday, July 14. Creighton's Tor Trosten scored twice during overtime, while Ziyad Fares scored Laredo's first goal of the match.
