OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's soccer team picked up three points in the BIG EAST standings with a 2-0 shutout of DePaul on Saturday night at Morrison Stadium as part of senior night.
The Bluejays improved to 3-3-2 during BIG EAST play and 9-5-2 overall, while the Blue Demons fell to 4-11-2 overall and 1-6-1 in league play.
Creighton is now in fifth place in the conference standings and one point ahead of both Providence and Marquette with one match remaining for each team in the league on Wednesday. Six teams qualify for the BIG EAST postseason tournament which begins with first round matches on Nov.
