OMAHA, Neb -- The Creighton men's soccer team held the Jeffrey C. Kasch Soccer Banquet on Saturday night at the Old Mattress Factory. At the event, the team, coaches, staff members and supporters of men's soccer program celebrated the 2016 season and handed out individual awards.
The Bluejays qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the 24th time in the past 25 seasons before ending the 2016 campaign in the third round of the NCAAs with a 2-1 loss against Providence.
Creighton ended the year 13-7-3 and ranked No. 15 in the final NSCAA poll.
Individually, Ricardo Perez and Alex Kapp each earned national recognition.
