SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Creighton men's soccer team dropped its first BIG EAST match of the season, 1-0 against Seton Hall on Friday night in South Orange, N.J.
The Bluejays fell to 2-1-0 in league play and 6-3-1 overall, while the Pirates improved to 2-1-0 during BIG EAST action and 4-4-0 overall.
Seton Hall converted the game-winning goal during the 33rd minute.
The host Pirates controlled possession during the first half as Creighton did not record its first shot until the 31st minute when Luke Mitchell's header hit the far post following a corner kick.
