Omaha, Neb. -- With a 3-0 victory over DePaul on Saturday, October 29, the Creighton men's soccer team put themselves in position to earn a home match in the BIG EAST Tournament next week.
With the win the Bluejays moved to 6-3-6 overall and 3-2-4 in conference action, while DePaul fell to 4-6-6 on the season and 1-4-4 in BIG EAST play.
The Bluejays got on the board in the 24th minute as sophomore Giorgio Probo fed junior with a perfect pass in front of the defense. McGuire raced toward DePaul goalkeeper Gandhi Cruz, punching a shot into the back of the net for his 12th goal of the season.
