COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Powered by two second-half goals, the Creighton men's soccer team defeated Ohio State 2-0 on Wednesday night during an exhibition match at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
Wednesday's victory marked the Bluejays second road victory during the preseason, as Creighton claimed a 2-1 win on Saturday night at Caniglia Field against Nebraska-Omaha.
The Bluejays broke into the scoring column during the 65th minute. Junior Luke Haakenson received a pass from Kuba Polat before sneaking the ball past the Buckeye goalkeeper to give Creighton a 1-0 advantage.
