FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Shaun Campbell tied for ninth place with an even-par 210 to lead the Creighton men's golf team to a sixth place finish at the season-opening Ram Masters Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo. The Bluejay team score of 860 was its best 54-hole score in September in more than 20 years, and its fourth-best mark among all tournaments in that time.
Campbell opened his senior campaign with rounds of 74, 66 and 70 to earn his third career top-10 finish. The New Zealand native had 14 birdies during the week, including six in his second round on Wednesday.
