OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton men's cross country team has been honored for having the top GPA in the country, while the women tied for seventh. Both squads garnered U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team recognition earlier this week.
The Bluejay men owned a nation-leading 3.76 GPA, while Creighton's women earned a collective 3.83 GPA to tie Harvard for seventh place. Creighton was the nation's only school with both genders owning a 3.75 GPA or better and joined Harvard as the only school with both men's and women's teams in the top 10.
