MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The Creighton men's cross country team placed fifth at the Oz Memorial held at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minneapolis, Minn., on Friday evening.
Jacob Ohnstad led Creighton with an 11th-place finish, completing the 4-mile course in a time of 21:00.6. It's the second straight weekend that he's been CU's top performer. He finished three seconds ahead of teammate Spencer De Jong (21:03.2), who placed 13th.
Sophomore Chase Howard clocked a time of 21:44.1, good for 36th, while classmates Nate Fedel (22:04.7; 48th) and Nick Monkemeyer (22:07.
