WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Ryan Hawkins and Ryan Kalkbrenner combined for 52 points and 27 rebounds, and Creighton threw down nine dunks as a team in an 80-66 victory at Georgetown on Saturday, Feb. 12.
The Bluejays improved to 15-8 on the season and 7-5 in BIG EAST play, while Georgetown dropped its 13th consecutive game to fall to 6-17 overall and 0-12 in league action.
Behind a combined 32 points from Hawkins (19) and Kalkbrenner (13), the Bluejays raced to a 42-37 halftime lead. Hawkins made five three-pointers, while Kalkbrenner had five dunks in the opening stanza.
