OMAHA, Neb. -- Following a 2-0 week that included an 86-70 win over then-No. 5 Villanova, the Creighton men's basketball team made a major move in the Associated Press Top 25 poll by moving up five spots to No. 14.
The Bluejays, who also led wire-to-wire in a 63-48 win at Georgetown earlier in the week, have now won six of seven games.
Creighton's 20 straight weeks in the rankings extends the program record. The Bluejays remain one of six schools that have been ranked each of the past 20 AP polls (since Feb. 3, 2020), joining Gonzaga (91), Villanova (36), Baylor (33), Houston (22) and Iowa (22).
