Men's Basketball Rolls Past Winona State in Exhibition Win

OMAHA, Neb. -- Ty-Shon Alexander went 6-for-6 in the first half, including five three-pointers, to lead six men in double-figures as the Creighton men's basketball team rolled to a 101-57 exhibition victory over Winona State on Saturday night.

Creighton made 19-of-40 three-pointers, including 11-of-21 from downtown while rolling to a 53-23 halftime lead.

Winona State was led by 14 points from Charlie Koontz. The Warriors made 32.8 percent of their shots.

In addition to 17 points from Alexander, Davion Mintz scored 12 and the Bluejays got 10 a piece from Martin Krampelj, Samson Froling, Mitch Ballock and Marcus Zegarowski.
