ROSEMONT, Ill. -- A 20-2 run spanning halftime helped propel the No. 23 Creighton men's basketball team past DePaul on Saturday, 93-58. The Bluejays shot 60.7 percent from the field, including 13-of-22 from three-point range (59.1 percent), en route to the victory.
Creighton (21-4, 8-4 BIG EAST) improved to 10-1 away from home this season, while DePaul dropped to 8-17 (1-11 BIG EAST).
Creighton trailed 5-2 early before an 8-0 run helped the Bluejays take the lead for good. Marcus Foster scored the first five points in that spurt, which was capped by a Toby Hegner three-pointer.
