OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Men's Basketball team has finished in the top-10 nationally in average home attendance for the sixth straight season, according to figures released by the NCAA on Tuesday.
Creighton attracted 296,013 fans to CenturyLink Center Omaha in 17 home dates, good for an average of 17,413 to place fifth in the country. That fifth-place mark ties the highest-mark in school history, as the 2013-14 team also finished fifth when it attracted a program-record 17,896 fans per game.
Creighton was one of 14 schools to increase its home attendance average by more than 1,000 fans from 2015-16, finishing ninth in that category with an upgrade of 1,471.
